love..uuh...far away from me...
let me see...
if i can speak the truth...
i am actually not even worth it...

for all my mistakes,
what i deserve
is not someone's presence
but only grief.

kept strolling in those lanes,
never thought to make a change
i always had the perfect conceit
the arrogance getting stronger everyday.

i would live to work
and work to live
this was the only idea
i ever believed in.

concrete thoughts
clear views
life was perfect,
atleast i guessed it so.

and life went on
lifelessly
sun did shine
gloomily

but there it was
a loophole left
one stone left unturned
and we met.

time went by,
and i never tried
'cause i thought i was happy
with all that i had.

i was stubborn
with all those thoughts
that love dosent exist
its just an idea of the intellect.

how could i miss this
how can i be so blind
to feel and not see
that you are always here with me.

and it happend so
as the saying goes
'love happens
when you least expect it to'

i FINALLY fell,
but didnt realise
that you are the one
i always wished for life.

The Evening

The beach, the sand,
your holding my hand,
the shrilling of the waves,
its this time with you, i wanna save and encase.

The orange sky,
the coconut drink,
the fading footprints,
on the sand that we made.

Your third try,
for the sand castle to stand,
and it doomed again,
but you still laugh at it with some kids around.

We walked and talked,
and talked and talked,
that was a never ending sunset,
an evening i will never forget.

Suddenly you paced,
and came upfront,
and i was shrugged,
to feel that you grip my palm.

"You are the words,
of every poem that I wrote,
You are in my thoughts,
always and forever,till this sun exist."

"You gave my life,
a meaning, a reason to survive,
I love you, and I am here to ask,
Will you marry me and be my wife."

There was a silence,
and I could hear my heart loud,
'say yes,say yes'..it said,
but those lips were numb and taut.

I saw in your eyes,
a plea, a request,
like you were waiting eagerly,
to hear just one word and that was yes!!

Finally I mumbled,
and with a shy smile,I said yes,
and hugged you and kissed you,
to tell you that I feel the same.

We were there,
lost in the beach,
and then i heard someone calling,
"Granny,granny...i want some ice-cream please"

I opened my eyes,
and soon did i realise,
it happened some 50 years back,
but I just lived it again,the feelings tantamount.

I saw u smiling still,
in the picture with purple frame.
though you are gone now,but,
your love for me is enough to live and bear all the pain.

BETTER!!

some words are better unspoken,
some hearts are better untouched,
some dreams are better not lived,
some doors are better when they are closed!!!

when i look back at the pages of my diary,
i saw your name scribbled so delightly,
then i picked my pen and started to write,
to capture the moments wd u that has just passd my life.

the guy with a cute look,
the guy with a smile,
the guy for whom,
irradiation can b caused by the mobile. :)

met you some 6 years back,
but still cant figure it out where we met first,
was it at the canteen,or the class...
or the school bus...where we sat apart.

thought that you were shy,
none-the-less was i,
but when we started to talk,
it felt as if we have known each other from so long.

i still can hear the ringing of the phone,
when i called you up at the midnight hour,
to wish u happy birthday,
bt u felt so shy. :P

now i wonder when time went by,
that you are a gem in the cluster of my frnds,
so i took some time out of our lives,
to say thanks to you for being on my side. :)

THE REASON

When I close my eyes,
apart the beautiful blue sky,
I see the love in your eyes,
and thats the reason for my smile.

When I walk the street,
I see people hustle by,
but you hold me tight,
and thats the reason why I m alive.

When I am low,
the warmth you show,
and you never lemme cry,
and thats the reason I shine.

When you left me alone,
for some reasons untold,
and I know it cant go anymore,
and thats the reason why I wanna die.

CHANGE

I still remember the taste,
of the last drink together we had,
you were striving hard,
to give your best shot.

The matter was raised,
with the toast upheld,
that we should be back together,
despite that all my dreams were shattered.

I saw you move your lips,
to say those hollow words,
"Its all history baby,
n now I have changed,I swear."

For a moment I was moved,
cause I loved you , n will always do,
but then I realised that you were the same,
the guy who left me,cuz for you I was just a game.

I wish I could trust you,
I wish you could prove me wrong,
but all in vain cuz it was you,
who couldn't ever change!!!

aasinata ko hatane ka,
is dharti ke saare,
insaano ko jagaane ka.

Bhale hi,
poornima ki roshni kam nahi,
par,
amavasya mein diwali ki baat hi nirali hai.

Chaundhiya de,
sabki aankho ko aisi law jaga tu,
suraj chup jaaye tere saamne,
aisa ujala faila tu.

Maana,
kuch bhi aasaan nahi,
par,
kabhie na ghabraana tu,
har pal apni si hi,
ek nai law jagana tu.
sab milkar phir ek,
nayi jwala bhadkana tu.

Jaise,
kankar se parvat bankar,
saagar ko harana tu.
yehi waqt ka aagaaz hai....
har insaan ko jagaana tu...

"Waqt ki raftaar"

Waqt ki raftaar se,
raftaar milana chahte ho
to soch lo pehle kahan par
kadam badhana chahte ho

Jitne chale is raah par
bahut aage kahin hai ja pahuche
dharti par hi nai
aakash par bhi taare bankar hai chamke

Zindagi hui unki safal
vifaltaaon ke aaye na pal

Isiliye mein poochti hoon

yadi sakshamta hai

"Aaj ke mahant"

'Mahanto' ki toli se,
naaro ki goli chali.
jo ja kar aaj ke
insaan ko lagti hai.
rote hai wo bechare
aur hamesha yehi sochte hai
yadi sabhie sacche 'mahant' hai
to vichar unke kyu takrate hai
jaise,
sacchai ko kaise bhi dekh lo,
sach ke do roop nai hote.
waise hi,
naare kitne bhi laga lo,
doosre gandhiji asal mein kuch nai hote!!!
