I still remember the taste,
of the last drink together we had,
you were striving hard,
to give your best shot.

The matter was raised,
with the toast upheld,
that we should be back together,
despite that all my dreams were shattered.

I saw you move your lips,
to say those hollow words,
"Its all history baby,
n now I have changed,I swear."

For a moment I was moved,
cause I loved you , n will always do,
but then I realised that you were the same,
the guy who left me,cuz for you I was just a game.

I wish I could trust you,
I wish you could prove me wrong,
but all in vain cuz it was you,
who couldn't ever change!!!
